When should I replace the timing belt?
Many car owners may wonder how often to replace a timing belt. The old rule was every 100,000 kilometres. To be safe you should check what the vehicle’s manufacturer recommends and stay within that mileage

Should I change my air filter?
A dirty air filter prevents the necessary volume of clean air from reaching the engine which affects the emission control systems of the car; reducing air flow and causing a too rich air-fuel mixture which can foul the spark plugs. Fouled spark plugs can create an engine miss, rough idle and even starting problems.

What causes an engine light to come on?
Many people don’t know this, but a loose, cracked, or faulty gas cap can cause fuel to evaporate, thus cuing your check engine light. So first things first, pull over (as soon as it’s safe) and make sure your gas cap is on tight.
